U.S. Passport Acceptance Office

What does the ASU U.S. Passport Acceptance Office do?

U.S. Passport Acceptance Office at ASU is designated as an official passport application acceptance facility. It provides services to the ASU community of students and employees, and to the greater Phoenix area. The U.S. Passport Acceptance Office will accept your completed passport application and forward it to the U.S. Department of State, Passport Services section, for an issuance determination.

This determination for issuance cannot be made by the ASU U.S. Passport Acceptance Office.

Photo services for passport applications or any passport-sized photo needs can be handled here as well.

Who decides if a passport application is approved?

The U.S. Department of State, Passport Services office is responsible for making the final decision to issue or deny a U.S. passport, based on each individual application. Customers may be requested to provide additional information as determined by their office. They will send out your passport if issuance is approved.

Where can I park on campus?

Three parking spaces are reserved for passport customers in Lot 20 on the north side of the Tempe Center building.

These spaces are located in front of the entrance to the ASU U.S. Passport Acceptance Office.

When parking in these spaces, please sign in at the ASU U.S. Passport Acceptance Office.

The surrounding parking area is a tow away zone.
